The Vertical Grip – M-LOK is built around one idea: the correct support-hand angle depends on how the shooter actually holds the rifle, and most vertical grips only give one option.

A C-clamp technique works best with a forward-canted grip that lets the shooter drive the rifle rearward into the shoulder. A thumb-forward or thumb-over-bore technique works better with a more neutral, rearward-angled grip that doesn't force the wrist into flexion. Most grips commit to one angle, which means switching techniques usually means switching grips.

This grip is reversible. Mounted one way, it sits at a 19° forward angle built for an aggressive C-clamp. Flipped and remounted the other way, it sits at 12° rearward, closer to an angled foregrip, for a more neutral wrist position.

Built for How You Actually Hold It

The two mounting orientations aren't a gimmick. They target two different techniques directly.

Forward at 19°, the grip encourages an aggressive C-clamp: the wrist sits in slight flexion and the hand pulls the rifle rearward into the shoulder, which tends to work well on shorter carbines where there's less rail to work with.

Reversed to 12° rearward, the grip functions closer to an angled foregrip. The wrist stays more neutral, the technique shifts toward thumb-over-bore, and the grip becomes a comfortable index point for shooters who wrap only two or three fingers around it rather than the whole hand.

A Neck That Gets Out of the Way

The grip narrows sharply where it meets the handguard instead of running straight down as a uniform cylinder.

That taper does real work: it reduces interference with the support hand, lets the hand choke up higher against the rail, and shortens the distance the hand has to travel between rail and grip. For thumb-forward techniques in particular, that shorter reach matters more than it looks like it would on a spec sheet.

Texture on Every Side
