The Standard
The Perun LC is a concealed OWB holster for pistols equipped with weapon-mounted lights and slide-mounted optics.
It is built on the same platform and the same design philosophy as the standard Perun — with one addition: it accommodates a weapon-mounted light without asking anything different of the cover garment.
A G19 with a TLR-7A beneath a sport coat. A duty pistol with an X300U under an untucked shirt. A fully configured light-and-optics setup carried OWB without the bulk penalty conventional assumptions say is unavoidable once a weapon light enters the equation.
The assumption is wrong.
A weapon light should not change the concealment equation. The Perun LC was built around that principle.

The OWB Compromise
Every OWB carry method is a negotiated compromise. OWB gives up some concealment in exchange for faster access, greater comfort over long hours, and the ability to carry a serious pistol without surrendering waistband real estate.
The conventional assumption is that adding a weapon light deepens that compromise — that the light's extended profile below the dustcover translates directly into more stand-off, more printing, a larger concealment penalty.
The Perun LC was designed around a different premise: the light goes where the holster already accounts for it.
Your cover garments remain part of the concealment equation. The objective was never to eliminate their role. The objective was to ensure that mounting a weapon light does not change which ones are viable.
Concealment is geometry. The light does not change the geometry that matters.
The Profile
The Perun LC concealable OWB holster rides high and close to the body with a footprint only marginally larger than the pistol and light combined.
The weapon light adds bulk forward of the trigger guard and below the dustcover — outside the zone where OWB concealment is won or lost. High ride and minimal stand-off control what the cover garment has to work against. The light's position does not change that equation.
The result is a concealed OWB holster capable of carrying a fully configured light-and-optics pistol beneath cover garments that conventional assumptions say cannot work once a weapon light is part of the system.
Accessibility Under Armor
OWB holster accessibility is not simply about speed.
Concealable armor changes the geometry of the draw stroke and reholster. With some body types and armor configurations, the pistol needs to clear the armor's lower edge cleanly during both draw and reholster. A pistol with a weapon-mounted light has additional profile below the trigger guard to manage during that clearance path.
Additional offset from the body can create clearance that helps the combined pistol-and-light profile clear armor more naturally during both draw and reholster.
Raven Concealment Systems offers optional belt attachment kits that increase drop and offset from the body. These configurations can improve draw and reholster geometry for armor-equipped users carrying pistols with weapon-mounted lights, and can also benefit body types or clothing styles that create unique concealment challenges with the additional profile below the dustcover.
For plainclothes law enforcement, executive protection, federal users, and others carrying light-equipped pistols in armor-equipped environments, that additional clearance can become an operational advantage.
The Perun LC preserves the accessibility advantages of OWB while minimizing the concealment penalties traditionally associated with a light compatible configuration.
Large-Scale Issue Changes the Requirements
The Perun LC platform has been selected and issued agency-wide across multiple federal law enforcement organizations.
Agency-wide issue with a specific pistol-and-light configuration creates a demanding standard. The holster has to function reliably across a broad range of body types, clothing choices, assignments, and operational environments — while every officer in the organization carries an identical configuration day after day.
When those organizations upgraded their weapon lights, they evaluated the holster again from scratch. They came back to the Perun LC.
Individual users can adapt around weaknesses. Large organizations cannot.

The same Perun LC holster body works left- or right-handed without modification or compromise.
Each Perun LC includes three pairs of modular 1.5" belt loops:
- Left-hand 10° cant
- Right-hand 10° cant
- Ambidextrous 0° cant
Most right-handed users prefer RH 10°. Most left-handed users prefer LH 10°.

Retention Calibrated to the Configuration
Most adjustable holster retention systems rely on a screw threaded through a rubber grommet positioned between two holster halves. That design works — but every draw stroke flexes the grommet, and repeated compression can eventually allow hardware to back off, changing retention over time. On a light compatible configuration, where retention geometry is specific to a particular pistol-and-light combination, that drift is a more consequential problem.
The Perun LC approaches retention differently.
Its retention slider travels along a dedicated track and locks into the position you set for your specific configuration. There is no rubber grommet repeatedly compressing and relaxing during use, and no flexing spacer acting as a wear point within the adjustment system.
Set retention using a Phillips-head screwdriver and add a witness mark to the holster body if desired. A quick glance confirms whether anything has moved.
The objective was straightforward: retention calibrated to your exact pistol-and-light combination on day one, and identical to that on day one thousand.

Body Shields — By Design
The Perun LC's full-height inboard and outboard body shields are integrated directly into the ambidextrous holster body.
They protect cover garments from slide serrations and sharp edges while shielding the pistol and light from sweat and environmental exposure. On a light compatible configuration, the outboard shield manages more contact surface between the holster and cover garment — the additional profile below the dustcover increases what the garment works against.
They also maintain clear access to the holster mouth during reholster and support repeatable indexing during return to the holster, keeping cover garment material clear of the mouth regardless of the configuration mounted.
They are not add-ons. They are part of the system.
